CHRIS BROWN: Trial Set for April

Chris Brown will face trial for assault in April. The case, which stems from an October incident, will be heard in Washington, D.C.

The singer stands accused of punching a man in the face outside the W Hotel in downtown D.C. He was on probation when the incident occurred, so there is a good chance of jail time if he is convicted.

Brown was not present at today's (Thursday's) hearing when a Superior Court judge set an April 17th date. The trial is expected to take about three days.

TeeRoy's 2 Cents

  • Brown and Bieber ought to be locked up together.
  • The months of rehab for anger management ought to count in Chris's favor.
  • Think Rihanna will be there to see what happens to him? Maybe she'll be called to testify about his quick fists.
