- It's not all Bow Wow's fault. This is on the venue and promoters.
- Bow Wow should know better than to go along with this.
- There are ways to do safe, socially distanced performances -- like the drive-in concerts we've seen. This wasn't that.
- In other news, Bow Wow packed a concert venue.
Sylvester Turner tweeted that Bow Wow’s largely unmasked event was on his radar. He also tells “other bars and clubs that are operating as restaurants, beyond capacity and social distancing requirements, please expect visits.” Bow Wow felt singled out and took it personally, tweeting back, “Safe to say the mayor of Houston hates my guts. I can’t believe I get the blame for a whole weekend. This is ridiculous.”
Masks or not, the mayor says, “Concerts are not allowed in Houston at this time unless it is virtual.” Bow Wow posted on Instagram for someone to “tell the mayor of Houston, Texas [that] I’m leaving right now. Geeez.”
