A UCLA gymnast has become a viral sensation for her floor routine celebrating "Black Excellence" on Saturday.
Nia Dennis landed a near-perfect score in UCLA's season-opening win against Arizona State that was highlighted by her sizzling floor routine to a soundtrack that included songs from Black hitmakers like Kendrick Lamar, Tupac Shakur, Beyoncé, Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, and Soulja Boy. The routine received loads of praise and a reaction from OlympianSimone Biles who tweeted, "Okay @DennisNia do the damn thing girl. This was so fun to watch! keep killing it!" Dennis told the Los Angeles Daily News, "This routine definitely reflects everything that I am today as a woman and of course I had to incorporate a lot of parts of my culture."
