OLYMPICS: Could Still Be Canceled

So far, 67 people accredited to be at the Games have tested positive. Japan lags behind much of Asia in vaccination rates, and the Delta variant is spreading quickly there.

With athletes testing positive for COVID and sponsors pulling out of Friday's Opening Ceremony, the Tokyo chief can't rule it out. Toshiro Muto says, "We have agreed that based on the coronavirus situation, we will convene five-party talks again. At this point, the coronavirus cases may rise or fall, so we will think about what we should do when the situation arises."
