If I was Meg, I'd take his butt to court and let him try and defend his name and reputation.

It might be worth it to both sides to figure out a way to put this in the past.

They've got a little over a month to work out a deal.

Rolling Stone reports that according to the Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney, the parties are in a “possible settlement discussion.” But if they can’t work something out by November 3rd, preliminary hearings will begin the next month and witnesses will begin being called.

Tory was charged last October with felony assault with a semi-automatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm. The rapper’s counsel maintains his client's innocence, saying, “As in every case, the lawyers for the parties discuss the possibility of resolving the case… This case is no different. That said, our position as to what did and did not happen in this matter remains unchanged, and [Lanez’s] plea of not guilty stands.”
