Hospitalization Risk From Omicron Variant Is Much Less Than Delta

· A new study shows that vaccinated people are actually two-thirds less likely to be hospitalized because of the Omicron variant as opposed to the Delta variant.

· The research has also shown that that the risk of Omicron illness requiring emergency care or hospitalization is about half of that for Delta. · Meanwhile, as the debate over vaccine mandates rages at the Supreme Court, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky is correcting the record.
