TUPAC: Mini-Series Trailer Drops

We're getting a first look at the much-hyped mini-series Dear Mama, which explores the relationship between Tupac Shakur and his mother, Afeni. Dear Mama will air this fall on FX.

The five-part drama was directed by Allen Hughes, the man behind Menace II Society and Dead Presidents. It's described as “an intimate wide-angle portrait of the most inspiring and dangerous mother-son duo in American history."

In a voice-over, Afeni says, “It was my responsibility to teach Tupac how to survive his reality. So Tupac do something wrong, take your little sorry self in that corner, get the New York Times and let’s have a debate about it. Not a discussion, a debate."

Dear Mama will air this fall on FX.
