· Tesla is recalling 362,758 vehicles equipped with the company’s experimental driver-assistance software out of an abundance of caution due to car crashes.

· A safety recall report on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website says the Full Self-Driving Beta or FSD Beta system may cause crashes by allowing the affected vehicles to act unsafe around intersections, among other things.

· Reports make it clear that this technology does not make Tesla electric cars safe to drive without a human sitting in the driver’s seat.
