The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, found that coffee jump starts your activity level – with coffee drinkers taking, on average, 1,000 extra steps a day. But while the increase in exercise is good news, the study found that coffee drinkers lost about 36 minutes of sleep a night … and the more coffee they drank, the less they slept.
