Swizz Beatz recently discussed a health scare that nearly left him wheelchair-bound.

Swizz was on The Jennifer Hudson Show when he spoke about his bout with spinal meningitis. His immune system was so beaten down from pushing himself too hard that a doctor warned him that even if he didn’t die, he might never walk again. 

The super-producer, who is happy and healthy these days, says after he “beat the odds,” he's taking his health “a little bit more serious.”
