The Nun II scared up $32.6 million in its debut to top the box office.
That helped to knock The Equalizer 3 from first to second with $12.1 million. The Denzel Washington action flick has earned $61.9 million in 10 days.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 opened in third with $10 million, while the Bollywood action thriller Jawan premiered in fourth with $6.2 million.
And Barbie rounded out the Top 5 with $5.9 million.
