Pizza Hut likes to say that no one out-pizzas them, and perhaps they're right ... because no other pizza restaurant would ever concoct a monstrosity like this. The chain's latest Frankenstein creation is the Cheeseburger Melt. It is a handheld parmesan-coated Thin N’ Crispy crust pizza folded over beef, applewood-smoked bacon, onions, and both mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. There's also a dipping sauce on the side. The new menu item shows that Pizza Hut is trying to break into the fast-food burger business. A spokesperson says, "As a brand known for exceptional pizzas, venturing into the burger business is an exciting first for us. We thought we’d kick off our burger journey with something bold.”
