 The comments section. New research from Google revealed that young adults trust other people’s comments about an article as a reliable source of news. Most often they read the headline of a news piece, then scroll to the comments to get a sense of the story. And if an article is too long? Forget about it. They won't bother reading it. The research found that Gen Z values the different perspectives and the interactive nature of comment sections – preferring them to traditional news outlets.
