According to research conducted at the University of Oxford, people who were hospitalized with severe COVID at the beginning of the pandemic, have experienced a cognitive decline that is the equivalent of 10 IQ points. The study also found that, on average, peoples' depression, anxiety, and fatigue worsened. A quarter of the people examined said their decline was so significant that they had to change jobs.
