Rich Homie Quan has died at age 34.
TMZ reports that the rapper was found dead today at his Atlanta home and that the cause of death is unclear at this time.
Quan was born Dequantes Lamar on October 4th, 1989 in Atlanta.
He wanted to pursue a career in baseball and got a scholarship to play at Fort Valley State University in 2007, but dropped out due to the other expenses involved in going to school.
After getting a job at the local airport, he got involved with a burglary ring and eventually served 15 months in jail.
He started his rap career in 2012 and broke out nationally in 2013 with "Type of Way." He released a series of mixtapes and singles in his brief career but only one official album, 2018's Rich as in Spirt.
Quan made his last post on Instagram on Tuesday.
