The release of Michael, the Michael Jackson bio-pic, has been pushed back and will now open in theaters next October 3rd, six months after the previously announced date of April 18th.
No word on the delay has been given. Produced with the cooperation of his estate, it's said to focus on his “human side,” including his “personal struggles,” and “undeniable creative genius.”
Jackson died in 2009 at age 50 and is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California, where his father Joe is interred and where older brother Tito was laid to rest on Monday, almost two months after dying from a heart attack at the age of 70.
Among those in attendance at the private ceremony were his siblings La Toya and Marlon, and two of Michael’s three children, Paris and Bigi, also known as Blanket.
