Federal prosecutors allege that the mogul has been using his own family members as pawns in a campaign he’s orchestrated to try and gain sympathy from potential jurors. They’re specifically referring to social media posts made by each of his kids to commemorate his recent 55th birthday, including the family sitting around a cake and one-year-old Love singing “Happy Birthday.”

Feds say this is more than just a theory -- they actually got word that he was monitoring the reaction to the posts, and reportedly caught him saying that they had their desired effect on potential jury members.

Diddy is still waiting to hear if his most recent attempt to put together a bail package will sway the court. But prosecutors have made it clear they think it would be a huge mistake to let Diddy loose ahead of trial -- fearing everything from his fleeing the country to attempting to intimidate or influence witnesses or jurors in the case. (TMZ)
