Jay’s legal team says the unnamed woman confessed to them that she fabricated the story. This Jane Doe alleges that the Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee “pushed the false narrative” against Jay.
He’s suing Buzbee and the Jane Doe for malicious prosecution and abuse of the court system to “assassinate the impeccable and lifetime-earned character of Shawn Corey Carter.”
The lawsuit states that by making “false and malicious” allegations, they attempted to extort Jay in an “evil conspiracy.” Buzbee denied allegations made in the lawsuit (quote) “This case is baloney and has no legal merit.” (Billboard)
