Meek Mill is speaking out about gun violence.

The REFORM Alliance member took to social media to address a shooting that took place in his hometown of Philadelphia earlier this month. He says the incident is a prime example that the country is in a “mental health crisis,” while media and social commentators are “making it about race.”

Meek tweeted out, “It’s a mental health crisis going on and they [are] making it about race or color… This woman was killed [in] downtown Center City by a bum in Philadelphia. Why is the white woman getting stabbed by a Black man the only story running heavily? Violence is violence! RIP to them, too!”
