Please join the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, ASALH®, the James Weldon Johnson Jacksonville FL Chapter, and the other ASALH Chapters across the state of Florida as we welcome the 108th ASALH National Conference to Jacksonville, FL on September 19-24, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront Hotel.
As volunteers, you will be ambassadors who will assist more than 1,000 scholars, educators, community members, students, researchers, and active citizens from around the world who will participate in more than 200 fascinating presentations and informative dialogues about African and African American life and history. Your role is key is ensuring that everyone feels accepted and connected.
We document hours upon request. ASALH is a way to be a part of the change required for us to grow as a respectful society.
