A ZOOLIGHTS LANTERN EXPERIENCE
Colors of the Wild is back with an all-NEW collection of stunning lanterns you’ve never seen before! This year’s journey takes you from the depths of the ocean to the vast African savanna, then into the realm of mystical creatures from Asia, all illuminated in breathtaking detail.
As twilight falls, wander through a shimmering Winter Wonderland filled with sparkling lights and seasonal magic that adds a cozy, festive glow to the evening. Each lantern invites you to explore stories of wildlife, myth and the natural world, celebrating the beauty and wonder that connect us all.
Colors of the Wild will be held on select nights November through February, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. See full schedule
Pokémon Go
January 16. Join us for a Pokémon Go Lantern Safari, in partnership with Coliseum of Comics! Explore glowing lanterns while catching Pokémon in this fun, community-focused adventure, perfect for Trainers of all levels.
Live Cultural Performances
January 19 and January 24. Join us for special performances by the talented students of the Kam Lee Taiji Kung Fu Academy, featuring a Dragon Dance and Lion Meet/Greet at Main Camp at 5:30 p.m., with additional Lion Dance performances at the Range of the Jaguar at 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
community Night
January 19. Enjoy special discounted admission—just $17 for Community Night at Colors of the Wild, featuring dazzling lantern displays and live cultural performances.
WINE AND PIGMENTS
January 29. A special Colors of the Wild edition of Wine and Pigments invites guests to enjoy a guided painting experience in Land of the Tiger and take home their own festive creation.
Dungeons and dragons
February 7. Roll for adventure at the Zoo during Colors of the Wild! Join us for a one-of-a-kind Dungeons and Dragons night, explore glowing lanterns, bring your dice and embark on epic quests under the lights.
