The Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast presented by Florida Blue celebrates the life and lift the legacy of Dr. King. The breakfast encourages individuals and corporations alike to come together for the improvement and development of the Jacksonville community. The program features Mayor Lenny Curry alongside an inspirational keynote speaker- Chris Gardner, author of the book Pursuit of Happiness and inspiration for the film. In addition, the breakfast will recognize and spotlight the 2019 Tomorrow’s Leaders award recipients.
Tickets are $40 per person – includes a buffet-style breakfast with an array of items including eggs, bacon, grits, biscuits, fresh fruit oatmeal, and yogurt.
The program will feature Mayor Lenny Curry alongside an inspirational keynote speaker. Tomorrow’s Leaders winners will be recognized during the program as well.
Tomorrow’s Leaders are students from the First Coast who were nominated by a teacher, mentor, church, or other organization because of their exemplification of the values of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Nominated students were required to submit an essay, which was judged to determine the winners.
