Rays Beat Yankees Again

The Tampa Bay Rays (62-53) defeated the New York Yankees (72-45) 3-1 on Tuesday night in the Bronx. The Rays have now won four games in a row

Randy Arozarena hit a three-run homer in the first inning to account for the only offense the Rays would need on the night. Jeffrey Springs (5-3, 2.52) allowed just one earned run in five innings of work to get the win.

Jason Adam shut the door in the ninth inning to earn his seventh save of the season.

The Rays will now look to sweep the Yankees when the meet in the series finale on Wednesday night. First pitch Wednesday is scheduled for 7:05 PM - pregame coverage begins with Jay Recher hosting the Inside Pitch at 6:00 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
