Idaho Murder Suspect Will Likely Waive Extradition

(Moscow, ID) -- The man suspected of the University of Idaho stabbing murders will likely waive extradition. Washington State University graduate student Bryan Kohberger was arrested this week in Pennsylvania in connection with the crime.

His extradition hearing attorney has revealed Kohberger will most likely waive his right to extradition, meaning he can be transported back to Idaho immediately.

He says Kohberger is confident he'll be exonerated, suggesting he believes he's innocent. Kohberger's parents are also allegedly shocked by the arrest. In a news conference Friday, Idaho prosecutor Bill Thompson said Kohlberger's DNA was recovered at the off-campus house where four students were stabbed to death in November.
