Senator Rick Scott Wants To Declare "National Fentanyl Awareness Week"

Senator Rick Scott filing a bill to designate this "National Fentanyl Awareness Week." The Florida Senator is hosting a roundtable on the crisis with affected families and border and law enforcement leaders, laying blame on lax immigration laws. Florida leads the nation in fentanyl deaths, with Broward and Palm Beach counties first and second in the number of deaths related to the drug. The Florida Medical Examiners Commission says fentanyl caused 5-thousand-300-deaths in 2020, that's a 63-percent increase from the year before.
