Alessia Muhaj, 8, of Clearwater, subject of an Amber Alert, is safe. She was reunited with family today.
But there's still a death investigation underway. her father, Renato Muhaj, 34, is in police custody.
Clearwater police said he remains a suspect in a felony battery case.

The Largo Police Department is working a death investigation in the 1700th Block of Clearwater Largo Road North in conjunction with an Amber Alert that was issued.
A Florida AMBER Alert has been issued for Alessia Muhaj, a white female, 8 years old, unknown height, unknown weight, brown hair and brown eyes, last seen in the area of the 1700th block of Clearwater Largo Road North in Clearwater, Florida.
The child may be in the company of Renato Muhaj, a white male, 6 feet tall, unknown weight, brown hair and brown eyes.
They may be traveling in a 2017, gold Kia Sportage, FL tag number EJIJ99.
