A man was arrested on Monday (May 5) after refusing to leave a girls' dance rehearsal and attacking the manager at the Manuel Artime Theater in Miami. Manuel Arturo Baldizon-Sarria, 26, faces charges of burglary with assault or battery and resisting an officer without violence.

The incident occurred during a dance rehearsal for girls aged 7 to 12. According to NBC Miami, Baldizon-Sarria made unsettling remarks, including asking if any children were up for adoption. When asked to leave, he moved to the patio area and refused to exit the premises. The manager approached him, leading to Baldizon-Sarria hitting the manager twice in the face.

Police arrived after being alerted by an emergency radio signal and found Baldizon-Sarria nearby. He resisted arrest but was eventually detained. Surveillance footage corroborated the manager's account of the incident. During a bond court appearance, it was revealed that Baldizon-Sarria had an open indecent exposure case from December. He is currently held without bond.

The dance studio owner, Katerina San Juan Rodriguez, expressed concern for the children's safety and stated that additional security measures would be implemented for future events. The City of Miami emphasized their commitment to maintaining safety at public venues.
