Former Super Bowl champion and current North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick's longtime ex-girlfriend Linda Holliday reportedly got into a heated conversation with his new girlfriend and rumored fiancΓ©e Jordon Hudson at a party in Nantucket last December, TMZ Sports reported on Tuesday (May 21).
The alleged incident took place at a "Stroll Party" on December 6 hosted by Dreamland, a nonprofit film, performing arts and cultural center on the Massachusetts island, which was being DJ'd by Holliday's daughters, Ashley and Kat Hess. Documents obtained and shared by TMZ Sports state that Holliday was upset that Hudson, 24, attended the event as she believed it was "inappropriate, since the event was widely advertised as a party headlined by her daughters."
"She asked that I remove Ms. Hudson from the premises," the document states.
Holiday and her friends were seen on video surveillance footage confronting Hudson in the middle of the dance floor, which contained about 200 people at the time, at which point a Dreamland official intervened and Holiday's group "backed away" from Hudson.
"I asked Ms. Hudson if she thought it was a good idea to be there considering the clear animosity the above individuals felt towards her," the documents state. "She defended herself by saying she'd done nothing wrong, and it was her first time attending Christmas Stroll and wanted to attend the 'big party' going on that night, which happened to be the one featuring the Hess Twins."
The documents state that Hudson wasn't "looking to cause any problems, but just wanted to go out and have fun with her friend," who was identified as Melissa Sapini, Miss Massachusetts USA 2024.
Hudson reportedly agreed to leave as there were only a few minutes remaining in the party, but claims she and Sapini were threatened Holliday, who allegedly told Miss Massachusetts USA that if she "valued her current title she should think twice about who her friends are" and claimed to have "had many powerful friends in the pageant organization."
Sapini reportedly didn't speak to the official, but began to cry in the corner of the room during the conversation with Hudson. A staffer returned to speak to Holliday shortly after the interaction with Hudson, at which point Holliday reportedly said, "If this didn't involve my girls, I don't think this would have bothered me as much, but because it did the 'momma bear' in me came out."
Last August, the Daily Mail reported that Holliday was still living in Belichick's Nantucket home amid his relationship with Hudson, according to the Daily Mail. Holiday reportedly moved into Belichick's newly-purchased $4.8 million house more than a year after their relationship ended after 16 years.
Hudson has reportedly told at least one person that she and Belichick, 73, are engaged, the Athletic reported on Tuesday (May 20). There were no additional details about a potential marriage included in the Athletic's report, which came after the former Bridgewater State University cheerleader sparked speculation by wearing a ring on her left finger during a luncheon with Belichick at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City last month.
Belichick, who was hired by North Carolina in December, is the third-winningest coach in NFL history and one of seven NFL head coaches to have spent more than 20 years with one franchise following George Halas (40) of the Chicago Bears, Curly Lambeau (29) of the Green Bay Packers, Tom Landry (29) of the Dallas Cowboys, Don Shula (26) of the Miami Dolphins, Steven Owen (24) of the New York Giants and Chuck Noll of the Pittsburgh Steelers, all of whom have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Nashville native won an NFL record six Super Bowls as the head coach of the New England Patriots after previously winning two as the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants.
