A father and son team has successfully rowed from California to Hawaii. Tim and Harrison Crockett say they wanted to be the first father and son duo to row the mid-Pacific route.
That's what they did, rowing more than 24-hundred nautical miles starting on June 3rd.
They arrived from the San Francisco Bay last weekend, finishing their 44-day journey at Hilo's Grand Naniloa Hotel. They also set out to raise awareness about veterans' mental health. Tim Crockett says the issue means a lot to him, after he spent 12-and-a-half years in the British military
