50 Cent finally redeemed his infamous 2014 first pitch by getting a do-over at a sold-out Savannah Bananas game in Houston.
The rapper hyped the crowd with a performance of “In Da Club” before tossing a much better pitch to start the game against the Texas Tailgaters.
Unlike his wild throw before a New York Mets game at Citi Field years ago, which is often called the worst first pitch in MLB history, this one actually looked solid. Back in 2022, he even joked, “I would have kept my [butt] in the stands.
This is never going away,” while discussing his past mess up. On top of the redemption moment, 50 debuted a new drink, the Branson Banana Blast, in honor of the team.
His Branson Cognac is now the official spirits partner of the Savannah Bananas
