While in prison, Blueface added more ink to his face as he decided to get some more tattoos, and now he's opening up about his new tats during a conversation with Keke Palmer.
In a recent livestream, Blueface explained that he started getting tattoos eight months into his incarceration. He described it as a childhood dream to be heavily tattooed and mentioned that being in jail gave him no reason to hold back. "I always told myself as a kid that I was gonna be one tatted up m*****f*****," he explained. "Being in jail just made me feel like I didnāt have no reason not to do it," he shared. The rapper added, "Iām in prison, s***, I aināt got no job interview."
Blueface, who was sentenced to four years in prison in August 2024 for a battery incident and probation violation, was released on parole in November. During his time behind bars, he added several new tattoos, including logos like MLB, Chase, and Washington Nationals, as well as symbols like a paper plane and poker chips. In an interview with DJ Vlad, Blueface explained the meaning behind these tattoos, stating that the paper plane represents being "fly," while the Chase Bank logo signifies "chasing bank." He also mentioned that the Washington Nationals logo is a nod to his neighborhood on Washington Street.
Despite prison rules against getting tattoos, Blueface managed to get inked by an inmate with a tattoo gun, which resulted in a "tattoo write-up." He also revealed that he would consider removing his face tattoos if his daughter disapproves of them. "Most important girl in my life if she say she donāt like my tattoos that would be only way Iād even consider removing," he wrote on social media.
