Tom Hanks To Play Abraham Lincoln In New Movie

Tom Hanks is set to play Abraham Lincoln in the upcoming film adaptation "Lincoln in the Bardo." He will also serve as a producer on the project.

The film is based on the George Saunders novel of the same title.

The film will center on Lincoln's relationship with his "recently deceased 11-year-old son" and will explore "themes of love, empathy and human capacity in the face of unimaginable grief" through the mix of stop-motion animation and live-action.
