Lightning Rally To Even Series With Canadiens

The Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 on Sunday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal. With the win, the Lightning have tied the best-of-seven first round playoff series 2-2.

After a scoreless first period, Montreal scored the first two goals of the game to take a 2-0 lead midway through the second period. Jake Guentzel got the Lightning on the board late in the second, before Brandon Hagel scored twice in the third period to lift the Lightning to the win. Andrei Vasilevskiy went 16-of-18 in net for the Lightning to earn the win.

The playoff series now shifts back to Tampa for game five of the series on Wednesday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Canadiens is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Wednesday night at Benchmark International Arena.
