CDC Gives Update On Ebola

There are now 856 cases of Ebola in Congo and Uganda and 198 confirmed deaths in the two countries.

That's the latest total in an update given by the CDC this week. The CDC recommends avoiding non essential travel to those areas and says the overall risk to Americans and travelers remains low.

There are no Ebola cases in the U.S. linked to the outbreak. An American who tested positive for Ebola doing humanitarian work in Congo has fully recovered.
