According to People, 47-year-old Stephanie Adams and her 7-year-old son, Vincent, jumped from the 25th floor balcony of the Gotham Hotel in Manhattan to their deaths around 8:15am. Their bodies were found on the hotels courtyard located on the second-floor.
Adams appeared as centerfold model for Playboy magazine in November of 1992. It is reported that her estranged husband Charles Nicolai of Wall Street Chiropractic & Wellness, was the father of her son. Law enforcement said the two had been involved in a custody battle over Vincent.
There is no report on what may have led Adams to end their lives so soon, however in her final tweet on Twitter back in March, she did address the issue of domestic violence. Friends of Adams say she was not depressed and was generally a "vibrant woman" who loved her child.
The only person who should ever be ashamed in a domestic abuse incident is the abuser. Stand tall and stay strong. Find the right support and always maintain your safety. Get the help you and your child need now to no longer be a victim. https://t.co/nhhNDLnv3T #NoExcuseForAbuse— Stephanie Adams (@stephanieadams) March 21, 2018
