On Thursday (9/13) Tamar Braxton,41, sat down for an interview on The Wendy Williams show where she began to talk about some of her darkest moments in life. Braxton told Williams that she was battling on whether she really wanted to talk about what she had been through with her sisters and Iyanla Vanzant from "Fix My Life."
She said “A lot of things happened in my childhood that I was too afraid to talk about. Too ashamed to talk about. But the truth of the matter is I have been molested by both sides of my family.”
After the show finished, the singer took to Instagram to talk about her sit down with Wendy Williams. Braxton began the post by saying:
"Today Wendy asked me what happened at my sisters meeting and why did I walk out. Since someone there decided that they would ask me about something so private, so embarrassing, so secretive in front of EVERYONE that was there, I felt like my life was flashing before my eyes and IMMEDIATELY started to cry."
Braxton has been through a lot in the past few years from splitting from her husband/manager Vincent Herbert, allegeations of infideliity in their marriage, having multiple liens against them and even being as she states "ridiculed" by the pilot of a Delta airlines flight she was on. But on the bright side, she's got a new man and she's happier than she was.
