Anthony Ramos Will Be The Lead In Next Transformers Movie

Beloved actor and musician, Anthony Ramos has revealed that he will be the new lead in the next Transformers movie.

The 29-year-old was on-air with Power 105.1's Breakfast Club when he made the announcement. "I’m playing the lead in the next Transformers movie," the former Hamilton star tells DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God, "It’s coming out next year, next summer." The actor continues, "I just came back from Canada like two days ago. We started filming already." Ramos will only be in New York for a short while before heading back up to Canada to finish filming.

Ramos will be the first Latino to be a lead in Transformers, making the 7th movie in this franchise historic. "Shia LaBeouf, Mark Wahlberg and then they decided to f***in mix it up a little bit," Ramos jokes with the show.

Before finishing this part of their conversation, Ramos also shared what it was like doing the stunts while filming. "I do as many [stunts] as I can," he explains, "So I’ve been training how to drive stick shift. I was drifting in the car two weeks ago with the stunt coordinator. I do as many of the stunts as I can because it’s better."

Before we will see him in this movie, Ramos is also the star in the much anticipated In The Heights movie, coming to theaters June 11, 2021. This is one of many projects coming out for Ramos. After an amazing release of his album, "The Good & The Bad," everyone is waiting for what he will put out next.
