I regularly watch the Jacksonville RiverWalk north bank often and it's not much of a view anymore since the demolition of the Jacksonville Landing. Just green open space. and to be honest, Jacksonville has A LOT of green open space so I'm not WOW'd by it.
Just recently a Developer proposed a new idea for the space, calling it
"Riverfront Jacksonville"
worth 1.1 Billion dollars and asking the City of Jacksonville to pay half.
Now before we go into the photos and images let's throw my opinion out there now.
I like the idea of any developer taking interests in DTJax and I'd LOVE to see the skyline and economy downtown develop into something great for tourists, for locals to eat, live, and play, and just be a FUN attractive skyline.
now, on to the photos; plus you can read all the details here
