I’m a Star Foundation in Collaboration with Fit Over Fat USA are coming together to bring awareness to the importance of movement and how it benefits us all and our community, an initiative inspired by the former first lady Michelle Obama.
Jacksonville, Florida December 2nd 2017, In an effort to promote on going health and fitness support year round in the community I’m a Star Foundation will be hosting its annual Let’s Move Jacksonville. An initiative to promote movement among peoples of all ages by engaging in various fun sport activities.
Let’s Move Jacksonville encourages the community to become more active. The goal of I’m A Start Foundation and Jacksonville Association of Exercise and Nutrition Professionals is to make Jacksonville one of America’s healthiest cities. That is why I’m happy to announce the JAENP will be also at the event is on Saturday December 2nd 2017 at the Klutho Park starting from 10:00am to 2:00pm EST.
The entire event is free and everyone is invited, it is fun for the entire family. The event is always a success with lots of activities like dancing, sports, games, chefs from the community demonstrating healthy cooking, fun activities for the whole family, music and food will also be available at the event. There’s also a prize for the church, family or group with the most attendees.
I’m A Star FoundationIs a non- profit organization established in 2010, this is a group of young, smart, talented and resilient individuals ages 12 to 18 who have come together to create solutions for issues that afflict their communities.
I'm A Star Foundation trains teens to embrace the notion that the essence of leadership is service. Students engage in service learning projects focused on improving three core issues: childhood obesity, food deserts, and student homelessness.
