Cardi B Thanks Haters In Best New Artist Speech At iHeartRadio Music Awards

Cardi B won the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday (March 11) night in more ways than one.

The rapper kicked off the awards ceremony with a fire opening set where she performed a medley of her hits. From spitting bars from "Bodak Yellow" and "Bartier Cardi," to rapping verses from her guest features of Migos' "MotorSport," G-Eazy's "No Limit" and Bruno Mars' "Finesse;" Cardi did that. But, the artist's fun night didn't stop there.

Later on in the awards show, Bardi won the "Best New Artist" trophy and her #BardiGang couldn't have been anymore proud of her. While accepting the award onstage, Cardi gave a speech that left everyone cheering. First; the rapper thanked her publicist, fans and family for all of their support. ā€œI wanna thank my fans, Bardi Gang, because even when Iā€™m wrong they be like, ā€˜Sheā€™s still right!ā€™ā€ Cardi laughed.

Then, Cardi gave a special shoutout to all the people who hate on her grind. After all, they beg for attention from her so much anyway, so why not? ā€œAnd I wanna thank my haters too because they be downloading my stuff so they can hear it and talk crap about it, but it benefits me!ā€ she said. Even 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards presenter Paris Hilton loved the shade. ā€œI love her!ā€ the heiress was caught telling her fiance after Cardi's words.
