Jacksonville Humane Society Joins BISSELL Pet Foundation to Bring Holiday Hope to Shelter Pets During Empty the Shelters™ in December!
BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending pet homelessness, is bringing holiday hope to homeless pets by prompting a national call for adoption with its Empty the Shelters™ reduced-fee adoption event. Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) will participate along with more than 400 shelters in 45 states.
From Monday, December 2 through Tuesday, December 17, adoption fees for all available pets at JHS, 8464 Beach Blvd, are reduced to $25 or less. Additionally, JHS will offer two adoption events at local PetSmart stores as part of this Empty the Shelters event:
Saturday, December 7: JHS will offer $25 cat and kitten adoptions at the PetSmart store on Southside Blvd (8801 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL) from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 14: JHS will offer $25 dog, cat, kitten adoptions at the PetSmart store in St. John’s Town Center (10261 River Marsh Dr, Jacksonville, FL) from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
All pets at JHS are altered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Additional fees such as the city rabies licensing fee, a leash and collar, or a cat carrier may apply.
Spend the holiday with a new furry family member and help JHS Empty the Shelter!
