This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at the Jacksonville Baseball Grounds at 121 Financial Ballpark... Rally starts at 8am!
What is Sista Strut?
The Law Offices of Ron Sholes P.A. Sista Strut is the largest walk of it's kind in the city to support women of color and heightens awareness about the issues of breast cancer in women of color, as well as provide information on community resources. Sista Strut recognizes the strength of survivors, their family and friends, heightens awareness, promotes early detection and the search for a cure. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Sisters Network Northeast Florida, Inc. to benefit the women of Jacksonville.
Did you know?
African American women in the U.S. have a 41% higher death rate from breast cancer than white women.
African American women are more likely than white women to be diagnosed with breast cancer before age 40 and are more likely to be diagnosed with larger tumors.
Awareness of these issues will help survival rates with earlier diagnoses.

Registration Fees
Now through July 31st - Early Bird Pricing: $15 per individual / $20 per team member
August 1st through August 31st - Regular Pricing: $20 per individual / $25 per team member
September 1st through October 7th (day of) - Late Registration Pricing: $25 per individual / $30 per team member
**When using a credit card to register online, please note there is a ~$3.50 per person processing fee**
Registration fee includes the Sista Strut t-shirt for both individual and team member sign ups. Team members will also receive the Sista Strut backpack as well as the opportunity to take a team photo at the event. A team can consist of 2+ people (no minimum or maximum). Each participating member of a team must sign up as a team member in order to receive the Sista Strut t-shirt and backpack.
**We ONLY accept Credit Card or Money Order Payments..NO CASH OR CHECKS** If you register by Money Order, do not mail payment, you simply must bring your money order in person to packet pickup or day of event. And please include names of ALL team members! You and your team may not claim your t-shirt or packet without first paying.

PARKING
Parking is available in Lots P and M. Enter Lot P from either APR to Adams, Georgia to Adams or Duval to Franklin.
Lot J is NOT permitted for parking - it will be chained and locked, and your vehicle will be at risk for being towed.
Monique Blue of the Pink Queen B Foundation is hosting PINK PARTY at the Live Bar Friday October 6th beginning at 6pm. There you will be able to register and pick up your packets.
Volunteer Opportunities
Check-in Assistance: Help the check-in process go with ease by handing out shirts and bags to attendees!
Video & Photography Services: Be a part of the iHeart team for the day! Volunteer your video and/or photography services to be featured on our websites and socials.
Hype Rally: We need lots of energy to celebrate those crossing the finish line! May also be handing out water & granola bars.
Water Station: Everyone needs to be hydrated! Pass out waters to walkers at the half-way point.
Cheerleading Team: We are looking for high school cheerleading teams to come out and showcase their talent as their cheer on our walkers!
Marching Band: We are looking for a high school marching band to showcase their talent in celebration of our walkers!
