Drizzy broke the news on Instagram, where he showed off a jacket with his upcoming album name and release date. The all-black jacket says Scorpion by Drake is coming in June.
Just a couple hours later, J. Cole performed at a surprise concert in New York City, which culminated with the announcement of a new album called KOD, dropping this Friday. Brian B.Dot Miller posted additional details about the project, including what the initials stand for. He says there are “three different subtitles (Kidz on Drugz, King Overdose, Kill Our Demons).” The entire album was reportedly recorded in two weeks.
