Tyga has a new alter-ego -- the “LightskinLil Wayne.”
In a new music video, Tyga pays tribute to his friend, mentor and former Young Money boss, Weezy F. Baby. The visuals have Tyga re-creating some of Wayne’s most iconic music video moments.
It didn’t take long for Weezy to check out the clip and show love. He wrote, “Love!!!!!! That’s too dope bro… I’m at a lost for words after watching and listening to that! It feels gratifying to be honored in such a way! It feels uber better when it’s from ya broski!! Love @tyga - Light Skinned Tunechi!
The video features references to “A Milli,” Fireman” and “Lollipop,” and a wardrobe inspired by Wayne’s love of Japanese brand A Bathing Ape. There’s even a preview of Tyga’s next single, “Too Many.”
