Basketball …The latest idea being floated out there for the NBA to play their post-season tournament in Las Vegas. The idea is to quarantine the players in July in Vegas – and then roll the ball out there and let them play. It’s a wild idea, but certainly more reasonable than havingplayoff games on cruise ships.
Football…A growing number of NFL teams areallowing fans to defer their season ticket payments. Even though the league is trying to stay on schedule with the draft in three weeks and games in fall, teams are offering future dates for ticket payments, allowing fans not to lose those tickets – while being able to hold onto the extra cash for now.
Tennis…The Wimbledon Championships, arguably the most famous tennis tournament in the world,has been canceled. It’s the first time Wimbledon has been canceled since World War II in 1945 – and the first time since the tournament began in 1877 that the event will not be played during peacetime.
