- How irresponsible of these people.
- They've put so many other people at risk.
- If any other passengers on the flight get sick, they should sue the company and probably the airline, too.
- After they were ordered to isolate, the airline should have made sure they weren't able to board their flight.
The Hawaiian couple arrested earlier this week for boarding a United flight after knowingly testing positive for COVID-19 has beenĀ banned by the airline.
Wesley MoribeĀ and Courtney Peterson tested positive, then ignored quarantine orders at San Francisco International Airport and boarded a United flight to Hawaii with their four-year-old child. When they arrived in Hawaii, they were quickly arrested and charged with reckless endangerment. A spokesperson for United Airlines said,Ā "We have banned these customers while we investigateĀ this matter," and the "health and safety of our employees and customers is our highest priority."
