TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • Everyone has to be tried of wearing masks and social distancing, but it seems like we're making progress.
  • It's kind of hard to believe that we're approaching the year anniversary of when everything shutdown.
  • Hopefully, this is a once in a lifetime event and we won't have to go through this again.

Don't think about putting your masks away any time soon.Dr. Fauci said Sunday that Americans might still be wearing masks in 2022.

In an interview on CNN's State of the Union, Fauci was asked whether masks will be needed in 2022. He responded, "I think it is possible that that's the case and, again, it really depends on what you mean by normality."

Still, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said he does foresee that by the end of this year "we're going to have a significant degree of normality beyond the terrible burden that all of us have been through over the last year." (New York Post)
