The former Ruff Ryder was rushed to the hospital after the overdose led to a heart attack. Paramedics spent 30 minutes trying to resuscitate him, during which time he was deprived of oxygen, causing severe damage to the brain. He was admitted to the critical care unit of a local medical center in what one source called a “vegetative state.” X’s kids flew in to see him in the ICU over the weekend. With only limited brain activity at this time, doctors fear the worst.
