If you’ve ever wished you could applaud a tweet with more than just a “like,” you’re in luck ... You can now send some cash to the person who wrote it. Twitter is introducing a “tip jar” that will allow users to put their money where their “likes” are by transferring cold hard cash via PayPal, Venmo or CashApp. Don’t get your hopes up about cashing in, though – right now, the tip jar is only available to so-called blue-check accounts, including athletes, entertainers and journalists.
