Seems to me that issue really isn't availability, but a resistance to getting the vaccine.
Just the other day I saw a post on Facebook about a child, too young to get the vaccine, who got COVID after a sleepover and went home and infected her whole family. The father said if he hadn't been vaccinated, he might have died.
For the sake of your family, friends and our country – just get the shots!
With one-third of eligible Americans still not vaccinated, President Biden on Tuesday announced new plans with the hopes of getting those holdouts to get their shots.
This comes two days after his administration failed to reach its goal of getting 70% of American adults at least partially vaccinated by the Fourth of July. With the current figure at 67%, Biden noted the gains the U.S. has made against COVID-19, while cautioning about the threat of the highly transmissible delta variant.
The president said his team's plan will include door-to-door outreach, delivering shots to health care networks and doctors who can encourage teens to get vaccinated, and broadening the availability of shots at drug stores while increasing the number of mobile clinics and work sites to get vaccinated.
Biden said, "We are emerging from one of the darkest years in our nation’s history into a summer of hope and joy. We can’t get complacent now. The best thing you can do to protect yourself and your family and the people you care about the most is to get vaccinated.’’ (USA Today)
